The Inflation Reduction Act and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act together have the potential to catalyze unprecedented investments in an advanced, clean economy—creating millions of good-paying jobs, reducing energy costs, strengthening U.S. competitiveness, and closing opportunity gaps for disadvantaged communities. These two landmark laws are already delivering results, with thousands of new jobs and billions of dollars in new investments in states across the country. Corporate and investor engagement remains critical to unlock their full potential and advance more action to reach the U.S. goal of cutting emissions in half by 2030.
