Media Information

The event will showcase the most comprehensive investor call for government action, highlighting investors’ unified stance for a whole-of-government approach to climate change.
Ceres’ mainstage program and many of the sessions are open to the media. Journalists are encouraged to attend the Ceres media availability with CEO and President Mindy Lubber and other issue experts in the Nest media studio on Wednesday, September 25. “The convening comes at a critical juncture for the economy and the planet. The climate crisis, water scarcity and pollution, and nature and biodiversity loss pose growing financial risks to investment portfolios, business operations, supply chains, and the long-term stability of economies and markets. At Ceres at Climate Week, we will call for the urgent private sector action needed across the highest-emitting industries and the government action required at every level to limit global temperature rise in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement and avoid more catastrophic climate change.” - Ceres CEO and President Mindy Lubber |
